Hey, I'm Alex

I am known for helping 100s of athletes achieve elite performance across multiple disciplines.

After 15 years playing & coaching in elite sports, i found my passion in helping every day athletes achieve elite performance. My background in sport has allowed me to understand the ins & outs of professional sport and my goal is to offer that to everyday people. I am currently training for a full ironman in 2026 which is my biggest challenge yet however i believe is epitomises everything Onyx stands for. Help normal every day people achieve great things.

Our coaching model explained

  • Step 1 - Assess:

    We take you as you are now, a raw athlete and assess your current physical & psychological state through mini testing. "If you're not testing, you're guessing"

  • Step 2 - Rebuild:

    Building on step 1, we take the data and work towards rebuilding your training, nutrition and habits so that can we can push you to new limits

  • Step 3 - Refine:

We then look to refine you as an athlete through developing progressively overloading key areas that need to be improve.

  • Step 4 - Reinforce:

    Here we look to integrate long term systems to help you sustain high level performance. We then measure and review performance in a continual cycle to keep you moving forward.
